You’ve been bringing in gift cards throughout the month of October as part of the Longfellow Elementary Coat Drive. For the fourth year, we as a church have set out to provide new coats for kids who need something to keep them warm during the winter months. Our partner school, Longfellow Elementary, knows which kids have the greatest need. And by giving gift cards, it allows the school to buy the right size for the exact kids who will receive these much needed coats. We asked you to give and you did not disappoint.
This year, we collected over $1400!
That’s the second biggest collection, and higher than the average of the previous three years. Thank you for your generosity and sacrificial giving. It’s because of you that kids at Longfellow Elementary will receive such practical and greatly appreciated gifts.
